Grow Your Club with Curling Ontario’s Safe, Inclusive, Accessible Accreditation Program
Registration Now Open: Grow Your Club with Curling Ontario’s Safe, Inclusive, Accessible Accreditation Program
Registration is now officially open for Year 3 of Curling Ontario’s Safe, Inclusive, Accessible Club Accreditation Program for the 2026–27 season.
Whether your club is looking to take its very first steps or build on work already underway, this program offers a clear, structured, and fully supported framework designed to help your facility thrive for years to come. Best of all, it is completely free to all Curling Ontario member clubs.
Why Join the Program?
Developed in direct response to club feedback and shaped by Curling Ontario’s IDEA Working Group, the program provides practical tools to help leaders navigate three critical operational pillars: Safe Sport, Inclusivity, and Accessibility.
- A Continuous Journey, Not a One-Time Test: The program is designed as an ongoing, practical journey of growth and sustained culture change rather than an overwhelming, one-off certification.
- 100% Optional and Free for Member Clubs: Tailored specifically for member clubs across the province at zero cost to your organization.
- Recognition for Your Effort: Participating clubs receive marketing assets and community recognition as they progress through each pillar, highlighting your commitment to your members and local community.
Real Progress Across Ontario
Eleven Ontario curling clubs are currently participating in the program, actively shaping safer and more welcoming environments for their members. Three of these clubs are nearing full accreditation completion this season, demonstrating the real, achievable progress that comes from taking this step-by-step approach.
What Is New for the 2026–27 Season
To ensure every club feels equipped to succeed, we have expanded our support suite for the upcoming season:
- Updated Checklists: Streamlined, easy-to-use checklists broken into three distinct pillars, making implementation straightforward for busy volunteers and managers.
- Expanded Resource Suite: Access embedded guides, policy templates, and actionable tools created specifically for club operations.
- Dedicated Mentorship: Every participating club can work directly with an experienced mentor to share best practices, answer questions, and navigate the process together.
Ready to take the next step?
Building a safer, more inclusive, and accessible curling culture does not happen overnight, but you do not have to do it alone. Curling Ontario is committed to supporting your leadership team every step of the way.
