This session will focus on the most common mistakes made by novice curlers and skips, highlighting what needs to be corrected for improved performance on the ice.
Often, the instruction for novice curlers emphasizes technical skills, leaving mental skills and strategic thinking to develop on their own. As the saying goes, “you don’t know what you don’t know.” Balanced growth in technical, physical, mental, and strategic skill sets is essential for progress in curling. Without guidance, novice curlers may unwittingly follow approaches that hinder their chances of success.
This engaging session will help participants recognize and understand the most frequent mistakes made by novice and club curlers, along with options for continuous improvement. Whether you are an instructor or a beginner curler, this webinar will provide valuable insights into strategies to avoid and alternative approaches to elevate your game.
Cost:
- Curling Ontario Member Clubs: Free
