RESPONSIBILITIES
Before renting a Street Curl unit for your event, it’s important to understand the responsibilities of both your club and Curling Ontario. Please carefully review the responsibilities listed below before making your reservation:
CURLING ONTARIO RESPONSIBILITIES
Curling Ontario will provide insurance for the usage of the units.
- Curling Ontario will provide logistical assistance for clubs to pick up and drop off the units.
- Curling Ontario reserves the right to cancel a registration due to unit damage or malfunction. In the event that Curling Ontario cancels, a refund will be issued.
- Any staffed events will include a predetermined window for arrival and departure. We will do our best to arrive within the specified window, however no guarantees can be made due to traffic and construction. Our team will do their best to communicate enroute if possible.
CLUB RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure smooth coordination and safe delivery of Street Curl equipment, all participating clubs must meet the following requirements:
- Clubs must complete the full registration process, including payment, to reserve a Street Curl unit. Units will not be held until full payment is received.
- To rent a Street Curl unit, clubs must have liability insurance that covers its use and list Curling Ontario as an additional insured. A certificate of insurance must be provided before delivery. Units will not be released without it.
**Curling Ontario will not be held liable for any incidents or claims arising during the rental period. - Clubs must treat the Street Curl unit and accessories with care. Failure to follow the outlined equipment care expectations may result in the renting party being held responsible for any repair or replacement costs due to damage or loss.
- Clubs should be prepared to coordinate transportation of the unit up to 75 km each way for both drop-off and pick-up. This distance may be greater on long weekends or holidays.
- Submit a post event report after your rental. This report will be used to gather important program data and provide an update on equipment condition. All damages/ issues must be reported and submitted with photos.
