Curling Ontario Announces Amplifon as Newest Partner and Title Sponsor of the Men’s and Women’s Masters Provincial Championship

Curling Ontario is proud to announce Amplifon as its newest partner, solidifying a strategic alliance focused on community wellness and enhancing the curling experience across the province. We welcome them as the exclusive hearing aid partner of Curling Ontario and the proud title sponsor of the upcoming Curling Ontario Men’s and Women’s Masters Provincial Championship.

Amplifon is a global leader in the hearing care retail industry with a presence in 26 countries and over 10,000 locations worldwide, including more than 135 clinics across Canada, 70 of them in Ontario. Their mission is to empower individuals to reconnect with all the emotions of sound, offering services like free hearing tests, risk-free hearing aid trials, lifetime aftercare, and flexible payment options, ensuring that no one is left behind on their hearing health journey.

Matt Allen, Executive Director of Curling Ontario, expressed excitement about the new partnership: “We are thrilled to partner with Amplifon as they share our commitment to community well-being and the spirit of sport. This partnership allows us to not only promote a healthier lifestyle but also support our curlers in reconnecting with the sounds and joy that make life fulfilling. We look forward to working together to raise awareness about hearing health and enrich the experiences of our curling community.”

Gijs Vermeulen, Marketing Director of Amplifon Canada, added: “Amplifon is proud to partner with Curling Ontario in support of the local curling community. Just as curling fosters teamwork and resilience, Amplifon is dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with the sounds that energize and inspire them throughout the season. As a company deeply rooted in the communities we serve, we are committed to making a positive impact both on and off the ice.”

As part of the partnership, Amplifon will have a presence at Masters Qualifiers and the Provincial Championship event, taking place December 10–14 at the Whitby Curling Club. The company will also support club outreach initiatives to promote hearing health and awareness across the curling community.

Registration for the Curling Ontario Men’s and Women’s Amplifon Masters Provincial Championship is open and will close on October 20. The Provincial Championship at Whitby Curling Club will lead to the national championships hosted by Northern Ontario in March.

Amplifon invites clubs and curlers to learn more about its offerings and discover how customized hearing solutions can enhance quality of life.
