CurlON Launches Initiative to Expand Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Working Group

In recent weeks, CurlON launched an improved strategy for equity, diversity, and inclusion (available here). An important next step for us is to expand our dedicated working group—IDEA (equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility). We are now welcoming applications for new members, as this group plays a crucial role in executing our organization’s strategy priorities and deliverables.

The working group will lead the implementation of the IDEA plan for CurlON, establishing procedures to oversee and assess the initiative, while also facilitating program development, evaluations, and other related tasks. In addition, the working group will offer recommendations on governance and policy to the board of directors, and operational insights to the Executive Director.

Interested individuals should expect to contribute approximately ten hours per month, attending regular virtual meetings. For more details, check out the terms of reference here:

We are searching for individuals with relevant lived or implementation experience of IDEA principles to serve a two to three-year term in implementing the plan’s deliverables.

The application deadline is July 5th.

Have questions?

Reach out to IDEA Chair, Gerry Sundwall (gerry@ontcurl.com), or Executive Director Matt Allen (matt@ontcurl.com) for more information.
