ABOUT THE EVENT
The Best Western Challenge is designed to promote inclusivity and increase participation in curling. This event welcomes players of all skill levels, ages, genders, and abilities, encouraging those who haven’t previously competed at the provincial level.
Curling Ontario has introduced a tiered entry fee structure and two levels of competition:
- Tier One: Teams with limited recent provincial championship experience, with only two players having played in a national-qualifying provincial event within the last three years.
- Tier Two: Teams with no players who have competed in a recent provincial championship leading to a national event.
This event aims to foster a welcoming environment for all curlers and inspire new champions to get involved!
