Introduction

We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable and friendly Curling Assistant to join our team. 

The Curling Assistant helps ensure members and guests have an exceptional curling experience at Westmount. The ideal candidate is approachable, helpful, and willing to support our members and their guests with attentive, professional service. 

Position Summary 

The Curling Assistant will assist the Director of Curling with the day-to-day administration requirements of the curling department. Together, they will coordinate league registrations, league play, bonspiels, ice rentals, and special events. 

The Curling Assistant will assist with the inventory and ordering for the curling pro shop, sales of in stock merchandise and special orders.

The Curling Assistant will receive training in basic ice maintenance and will provide support to the Ice Team as needed during regular curling operations and special events.

They will build relationships with our members and explore opportunities to grow and sustain our curling program. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience at a curling club and have a strong understanding of the sport of curling, with a desire to provide exceptional curling experiences for our members and guests.

They will possess strong organizational skills and need to be proficient with technology, including but not limited to Office 365.

Availability

This is a part-time, seasonal position for the duration of the curling season. Hours will vary and may include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
